Business Profile

We are a specialist nursery based around a one acre garden which has over 2,000 different types of plant growing in it. We propagate rare and unusual plants as well as cottage garden plants. See the plants growing and flowering in the garden. We have shade gardens, scree, patio plantings and large herbaceous borders as well as colour themed beds. We cater for coach parties in summer and Dr Ward lectures nationally on planting and plants. The gardens are open annually for both the prestigious National Garden Scheme and the Red Cross. Specialist Services Free friendly advice, 1 acre garden open free with trees, shrubs, plants and alpines. Courses given and group visits including guided tour available. Lectures to groups also available.

A small nursery selling over 1,500 different rare and unusual plants including perennials, cottage garden plants, some hard to find shrubs, shade loving plants and plants for autumn interest. Plants can be seen growing in the one acre inspirational garden which is open to browse whenever the nursery is open.
